Ergonomics is the study of work and the human relationship to work. Ergonomics considers the worker’s stature, skills and limitations, the environment, and the physical and mental demands of the employee’s tasks. By optimizing the fit between the worker and the work, safety, efficiency, and comfort will result.

Ergonomics primary goal is to achieve the best fit between the work and the worker for safety, efficiency and comfort.
