OEH&S Material Safety Data Sheet A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) provides information on the safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals. When ordering a chemical ask that the manufacturer send you, and OEH&S, a copy of the MSDS for that chemical. The UCSF Office of Environmental Health and Safety is the central repository of Material Safety Data Sheets - you may contact your Department Safety Advisor for copies of MSDSs. The following sites provide easy access to on-line MSDS files:
